Rodovid Bank will be transformed into a 'toxic assets' bank, which will accumulate the bad assets of all three state-intervened banks (Rodovid, Ukrgazbank, and Kyiv). The bank is planned to be recapitalized with UAH 3.95 billion ($0.5 billion).
The share capital of the most troubled Nadra Bank will be raised 10 times to UAH 3.9 billion ($0.5 billion) by issuing new shares. At the same time, as all these initiatives will take time, the Ukrainian banking sector's return to health will be gradual as will be credit growth.

Article 86 was added to the Banking Law and provides the possibility for the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine upon submission by the National Bank of Ukraine to create a specialized rehabilitation ('sanaziyniy') bank or a toxic assets bank for the purpose of protecting the interests of the depositors and creditors of commercial banks.

Rehabilitation Bank
The Bank Recovery Law grants the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine the right to create a rehabilitation bank based upon the NBU’s proposal. The main task of the rehabilitation bank is protection of the interests of the bank’s depositors (creditors).
