Dear Cecilia,

I was recently told, in a British environment, to translate this as "public tender offer for the sale of shares" meaning that the investors are invited to sell their shares because we are delisting. However, Barron's Dictionary of Finance and Investment Terms seems to call it simply "tender offer" = offer to buy shares of a corporation, usually at a premium above the shares' market price, often with the objective of taking control of the target company. Although the takeover is not your case, I would still rely on this terminology.

That's what I get from my business dictionary, but I would think there's a more specifc term.

It also gives Transacciones de exclusión as "Going-private transactions"

Delisting Takeover Bid / Delisting Tender Offer

It's a takeover bid or tender offer for shares to be delisted from the exchange or even a securities register. OPC por exclusión is another Spanish variant used in Peru.
