PDF conversion is one thing using this and making comments on PDF is another type of a translation work. What else of types are usually for this software in translation jobs?
Need Adobe Acrobat for general required works for translation using this software. Adobe Acrobat 7.0 Standard version is enough or Adobe Acrobat 7.0 Professional is better for translation work?

You seem to misunderstand something. The PDF format is not intended to be edited in any form. The only thing you can do with it (if the permissions set by customer for that document are enough) is copy and paste into other editing programs. You might be able to save also a copy of a PDF document as Word or RTF, but what you get will not be that what you expect. After saving in RTF or DOC format you will need a lot of work to make the text editable in similar way the usual Word textes are.<... See more

The differencies of Acrobat or Acrobat Professional can be found on www.adobe.com. But please bear in mind, that both Acrobat and Acrobat Professional are not intended to edit PDFs, as PDF (portable data format) is intended solely as a read only format.

Thanks. Is it only PDF conversion type of work? Then, based on what is required using Adobe Acrobat for translation work, translating people usually have Adobe Acrobat 7.0 Standard or Adobe Acrobat 7.0 Professional?

I tried to convert PDF files to Word with free utilities (like pdfEdit995), but the utility first converts as an HTML document. When I try to save the document, the Word file type doesn't appear! It says that I must have Word 2000 or later installed which I have (Word 2002). Any idea on how to convert directly to Word format?
