How to disable the overwritting feature in Across

I am new to Across and must have accidentally pressed something and enabled the overwritting. Does anyone know how to disable it? I have version 6.0 and at present I am using the Offline Client mode. Thank you!

You probably pressed the INSERT button Aug 17, 2015

I believe it is the same function as in MS-Word. Just press INS button again and overwriting will be off.

But it didn't work. I had to restart Across every time it happened. (I need to find out what is it that I am pressing because it happens quite often and I simply can't disable it).
Thanks anyway!!!
