Description | The DVÜD e. V. represents freelance translators and interpreters in Germany. Our focus is on forging stronger links between freelance translation and interpreting professionals and the German economy at large. We achieve this through innovative and active promotion of our members at trade shows, events and behind-the-scenes with industry representatives. We also work hard to support new entrants to the profession with professional advice and mentoring. |

Training |
Offers training.
We offer webinars and in-person seminars on business skills and practical translation matters to support our members in staying up-to-date and improving their skills and business. These are open to non-members, too, but are offered at a discounted rate to our members. Webinars and seminars are offered both by industry and external experts on various fields, ensuring ideas remain fresh and useful. We also work together with educational institutions to provide practical business-related support to final-year students and recent graduates, both through consultation with teaching staff and through personal visits to speak to current students. |
