15.1. Subject to the Applicable Rules, the Advisor may invest in investments denominated in currencies other than the denomination currency of the respective Portfolio and movements of exchange rates may have a separate effect, unfavourable as well as favourable, on the gain or loss otherwise experienced on any such investment.
15.2. Subject to the Applicable Rules, the Advisor may deal on behalf of the Portfolios in investments that are not Readily Realisable Investments, which means that there is no recognised market for them. Therefore, there can be no certainty that sponsors or market makers will be prepared to deal in them at any given period or periods, and that reliable information for purposes of determining their current value or the extent of risks to which they are currently exposed may not be available.
15.3. Subject to the Applicable Rules and to the derivative risk warning notice attached to this Agreement as Schedule 7 having been signed by XXX, the Portfolios may be invested in Options, Futures-and/or Contracts for Differences, traded on exchanges. The markets in these investments can be highly volatile, such investments carry a high risk of loss and in the case of Futures, Contracts for Differences, and the grant of Options, a relatively small adverse market movement may result in not only loss of the original investment but also in unquantifiable further loss exceeding any margin deposited.
15.4. The Portfolios may also be invested in warrants. A Warrant often involves a high degree of gearing so that a relatively small movement in the price of the security to which the Warrant relates may result in a disproportionately large movement, unfavourable as well as favourable, in the price of the Warrant

Επένδυση σε αυτά τα δικαιώματα συχνά συνεπάγεται με υψηλή δανειακή επιβάρυνση, έτσι ώστε μια σχετικά μικρή μεταβολή της τιμής των εγγυημένων χρεογράφων μπορεί να οδηγήσει σε δυσανάλογα μεγάλη κίνηση, δυσμενή και ευνοϊκή, στην τιμή του δικαιώματος.

Β. Ρυθμιστικός κίνδυνος
Ενδεχόμενες τροποποιήσεις του ρυθμιστικού και νομοθετικού πλαισίου, όπως η εφαρμογή των προβλέψεων της Ευρωπαϊκής Νομοθεσίας, η εφαρμογή των προβλέψεων του Μνημονίου και των αποφάσεων της Ρυθμιστικής Αρχής Ενέργειας που αφορούν στη γενικότερη ρύθμιση και λειτουργία της Ελληνικής αγοράς ενέργειας, καθώς και πιθανή αναδιάρθρωση ή άλλες αλλαγές στις δραστηριότητες της εταιρείας σαν αποτέλεσμα συμμόρφωσης στο ρυθμιστικό πλαίσιο, ενδέχεται να έχουν σημαντική επίπτωση στη λειτουργία, στην οικονομική κατάσταση, και τα λειτουργικά αποτελέσματα της εταιρείας.

Κατά την διαχειριστική χρήση η Εταιρεία προχώρησε στην κεφαλαιοποίηση μέρους του άμεσου κόστους μισθοδοσίας του απασχολούμενου προσωπικού που ανήκει σε αυτήν και κατανέμεται στην προαναφερθείσα επέκταση του Δικτύου, στο αρχικό κόστος των υπό κατασκευή παγίων.

This is required by the provisions of the International Financial Reporting Standards adopted by the Company (IAS 16) which stipulates that any costs necessary to bring an asset into operation in the manner intended by management may increase the cost of that fixed asset for capitalisation purposes.

This is an introductory course in Financial Accounting, that involves the preparation and use of Accounting Information. This information relates to all business related transactions. It is used by businesses to make present and future decisions, by shareholders to determine the value and return of their investment, by lenders – banks and bond holders for future financing and by the government – for taxation and information purposes.
Accounting information is recorded using Double-Entry Book-keeping principles and it stipulates how to balance and close all the accounts of the business.
Recorded accounting information aids in the Financial Reporting process which is the preparation of Financial Reports. These reports are the Statement of Financial Position which reports assets, liabilities and capital at a point in time. The Statement of Profit or Loss and Comprehensive Income which reports income, expenses, profits or losses over a certain period. The Statement of Cash Flows which reports cash inflows, outflows and the net cash inflow/outflow over a period of time and the Statement of Changes in Equity which reports the movement in share capital and reserves.
This course also introduces the Accounting Principles, these are the international rules and regulations – IFRS, IAS, that underlie the preparation of these reports.
