Bio

I am a Portuguese translator from Portugal. I translate from English and Spanish into European Portuguese. As an independent vendor, I work with both the (Northern and Latin) American and the European variants of my source working languages.

I have a degree in Translation from Universidade Nova de Lisboa, one of the best academic institutions in my country, where I obtained a final grade of 16/20. I started working as a translator immediately afterwards in 2017.

Although I also work with other topics, my main specialisms in translation are by far the following:

  • Legal Translation (Company Law)
  • Business and financial affairs (financial transactions, insurance-related topics)
  • Medicine and Pharmacology (mainly Orthopaedics / Traumatology, Oncology and Pulmonology)

In 2021, I translated over half a million words, more specifically 𝟱𝟳𝟬,𝟴𝟬𝟬 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗱𝘀.
