However, e-commerce giant Amazon, which holds by itself more than 20% of the activity of the French e-commerce sector, and which poses the greatest challenges to its third-party retailers, has refused to sign in the last moment, causing the minister to explode in anger.

Das Europaparlament hat der umstrittenen Reform des Urheberrechts ohne Änderungen zugestimmt und damit den Weg für eine baldige Umsetzung frei gemacht. Auch der besonders kontrovers diskutierte Artikel 13, der in der finalen Fassung nun Artikel 17 heißt, fand in Straßburg eine Mehrheit unter den Abgeordneten. Er regelt, dass urheberrechtlich geschützte Werke – wie etwa ein Songtext oder ein Filmausschnitt – nicht auf einer Plattform erscheinen dürfen, wenn deren Betreiber keine Lizenz dafür besitzt.

El Parlamento Europeo ha decidido adoptar el texto íntegro de la controvertida reforma de los derechos de autor, y de ese modo desbloqueado el camino para una pronta aplicación de la misma. Consigue también aglutinar una mayoría favorable entre los diputados en Estrasburgo el discutido Artículo 13, que en la versión final pasa a denominarse Artículo 17. En él se establece que las obras protegidas mediante derechos de autor (como por ejemplo la letra de una canción o un pasaje de una película) no pueden aparecer en una plataforma sin obtener el permiso del titular.
