Discussion

I think I like my second choice better. "REVOLVING" - it's in my notes under open-ended. Or maybe "open-ended revolving service contract"

repeated intervals

Not a great deal to work with but I imagine reiterativa is pretty much a synonym for repetida, meaning that the breaks (if that's what it refers to) are not one offs.

Could be repeated regularity, but that doesn't sound too natural.
Good luck

at recurring intervals

periodicidad indicates a cycle / frequency, it is repetitive as Will says.
If it is (longer) intervals of time, you could use this:
www.uschamber.com/sb/P07/P07_1115.asp
Workers who perform work for you for significant
periods of time or at recurring intervals are more likely employees.

The IRS has found that a continuing relationship may exist where work is performed
at frequently recurring intervals, even if the intervals are irregular. ...

This kind of employment contracts(intervals of time: seasonal jobs) are in Spain known as ´fijos discontínuos\'.
EURODIC translates it as: intermittent permanent employees
seasonal workers are normally classed as temporary workers in Spain, but if they do the work habitually, they acquire a special status and are entitled to be rehired at the beginning of each season

Is it that kind of contract you are talking about? Or like: three months, then some time not.
Anyway - the context will help you to make a choice out of all the answers given.
