This is from a list of documents that a company is required to provide as part of responding to a tender.
Is it simply "perform" the contract? Or is it more broadly to "provide (deliver) the services covered by the contract".
Any corporate legal eagles out there this morning, please?

asker - what is the prestación as stated ? You have the contract in point and in the premises to hand. Is it a single-supply or service vs. prestaciones del contrato / contract services - in which case the ambiguity still obtains / 'obtention of services' insisted upon as a translation by an inhouse Eng Barrister at Clifford-Turner pre-Clifford Chance in Madrid - or a diversified range of contract pitches?

Agree with Toni and Seth, I think "prestación de servicios" may be creating a bit of confusion but the Spanish original text here says nothing about the provisin of services, but rather about the company being able to "perform" such contract which is an entirely different animal ;)

With all due respect Tigranuhi, I studied a BA in Law at Madrid's Complutense University and have worked in-house for multijurisdictional law firm Clifford Chance as well as legal departments of a few renowned companies and a notary public. I have specialised in legal texts for over 2 decades and have never seen prestación in this context translated as anything else but performance as confirmed by our colleagues here and as featured in in-house glossaries of the above-said legal firm and in the Diccionario de Términos Jurídicos de Enrique Alcaraz Varó, Brian Hughes.

@Tigranuhi Khachatryan Legal terminology is not defined by RAE, but sources of law in a given jurisdiction. No real legal translator would resort to RAE when plentiful other sources define such a term. The context of "habilitación para la prestación del contrato" is indeed about carrying out or performing a contract.
