Your characterization of my humble self as a person utterly unable to understand what you're saying is, to put it generously, a hypothesis. You may choose to use this hypothesis to construct a proper thesis and attempt to defend the said thesis. Otherwise it's just what it is - a pointless personal insult.

Борис, спорит не буду, все равно не понимаете, здесь научная гипотеза это предположение обоснованное; научная гипотеза является предположением о существенной, закономерной связи явлений. Научная гипотеза всегда направлена на то, чтобы доказать высказанные предположения.

Did you ever wonder what 'hypo- ' in 'hypothesis' means? To call a thesis a hypothesis is literally like calling a building a foundation. Or, to pick an example closer to home, like calling a syllogism a premise.

A statement cannot be both a hypothesis and a thesis. And it cannot be a thesis *statement* either ('cause yeah, I know the difference between a thesis and a thesis statement, incorrectly shortened to just 'thesis').

The research hypothesis for this study is the proposition that...

I liked Sofia's idea of "research hypothesis for this study," but there are still too many words! Get rid of "сдедующее" for sure, and perhaps "выдвигается", and life will run more smoothly. On the other hand, I don't like omitting "положение", and I think that "proposition" often works pretty well.
