maryblack (asker) May 21, 2017:
Gee... ...I sincerely apologize. My usual practice is to thank those who help me. Sorry you took the time to comb through the instances I didn't!
maryblack (asker) May 21, 2017:
??? Why would I not acknowledge people's help?
"reales" just means that they're using real "peines" from their photograph storage facility in the actual exhibition
philgoddard May 21, 2017:
Thanks Also, please don't close this question without at least acknowledging people's help, even if you don't award points. It's discourteous.
Some kind of comb-shaped storage rack, presumably, but what does "real" mean?
maryblack (asker) May 21, 2017:
context En la pared, colgadas de los peines reales que se usan para almacenar la fotografía en los fondos del museo, tenemos las 5 primeras obras que formaron parte de la incipiente colección .
philgoddard May 21, 2017:
Could we have the context please.

Please, read the references... I left the links below for you to see the pictures of "peines".

Art Racks: For Fine Art Museum Storage

Displaying and storing fine art in a unique, modern way can be difficult, especially with large collections. That’s why we partnered with Spacesaver, the market leader in providing fine art museum storage systems. Spacesaver’s art racks can store twice as many works as traditional storage. They have a steel mesh design and are double-faced, which allows galleries and museums to hang artwork on both sides of the rack without interference. In addition, they are versatile and secure.

You can also choose to have your art racks applied to a floor-mounted high-density system where the panels would move on high-density mobile carriages, or on a ceiling-mounted hand-controlled manual system called the Hang Glider Pro, to provide the ultimate storage density. The ceiling-mounted option maximizes your space to its full ability with panels being suspended by a roller mechanism that allows the panels to roll in and out easily and close together.

Both art rack systems create a more efficient way to organize your fine art museum storage. Whether your art is on display or in storage, or both, our art racks will maximize space and convenience with a smooth and easy operational system.

Painting & Artwork Storage Racks

Painting and artwork storage racks come in many different variations to provide the right collection storage for your museum. The racks will maximize your art storage capacity while keeping your framed paintings up off the floor and protected from damage. With both wall mounted and high density options, your museum’s art will be stored in less space.

Storing art can be an interesting challenge.

There’s the issue of keeping a collection secure—and there’s also additional considerations, such as humidity and temperature control, fire protection, and preserving the integrity of pieces for future generations.

We understand—and your collection poses a challenge that we enjoy partnering with you on. With compact art racks and other types of storage, art can reside safely in a small space and still be kept safe. Take a look at some of our art storage solutions:

Unlike traditional static storage, our compact art racks can double the amount stored by utilizing both sides of the rack. Art can be displayed vertically with ceiling-mounted hand-controlled manual art rack systems (such as our Hang Glider Pro) or with a floor-mounted high-density art rack system to accommodate larger art collections.

Both systems offer smooth and easy operational functions to provide an organized, safe way to organize your two-dimensional fine art.
