si parla di come modificare le impostazioni di un browser per modificare le impostazioni sui cookies.
nella descrizione di chrome, si dice così:
click the spanner in the top right side corner and select SETTINGS. from here select UNDER THE HOOD ancd change.....

io ho guardato su chrome, ma ho trovato solo "impostazioni avanzate" come voce che potrebbe andare. qualcuno mi può aiutare? grazie!

yes Danila serve capire quale versione si usa. Io credo sarebbe il caso di citare questa modifica in quanto mi pare sia piuttosto recente. Diventa ancora più un pasticcio quando il browser ti cambia la lingua in automatico per qualche motivo arcano.

nel mio però non c'è "impstazioni avanzate", ma solo "impostazioni" (e poi il percorso che ho indicato). Dato che l'ho scaricato stasera, presumo sia l'ultima versione. In effetti bisogna capire cosa fare nella traduzione, essendoci "under the hood" si riferisce evidentemente a una versione precedente, però visto che il testo è odierno, è da valutare nel contesto generale e in base all'utilizzo del documento.

They changed this item also in English, guess it ...depends on the version cited. What was once "under the hood"( and still is on mine as I like this version better) is now show advanced settings. I suppose that the translator should specify this modification, or make it known to the client for sake of thoroughness.
I'd state the former and modified tab name in both languages given that many still have the UTH tab.

E invece purtroppo confermo che c'era. L'ho vista quando ho installato Chrome per la prima volta; non tantissimo tempo fa. Roba da pazzi... Per fortuna che l'hanno modificata!

@ Susanna ehh, l'avevo vista anch'io girando in rete la roba da smanettoni, ma mi pareva impossibile... e (per fortuna) nemmeno nel mio chrome ne trovo traccia.

scheda Under the Hood

Io lho trovato sia solo Under the Hood che scheda Under the Hood, espressione che quindi sembra imporsi anche in italiano.

neutral Danila Moro : non è possibile che nei comandi di un software ci sia ql lasciato in inglese (a meno che non sia una versione non ancora disponibile in italiano). I link che citi sono "spiegazioni", non i comandi reali.

in base alla versione "impostazioni avanzate", ma serve capire della versione in uso. Anyways, impostazioni avanzate dovrebbe risolvere i guai :)
