Nostris eandem calicum curam fuisse, eò minus mirum, quod strenuæ honoratæque immoderatæ potationis exemplo præiverat Thor Deus, qui in eâ arte excellere sibi ipsi visus est, mythologiâ Eddæ quadragesimâ primâ docente.

I'm not sure I have the idea here, and need some feedback. This is what I have at this point:

For us there was the same cup [of] concern [to bear], and there was little wonder in this, because the god Thor vigorously and honorably provides an example of immoderate drinking, who in that art is seen to excel of his own accord, [of this] the mythology of the Eddas accounts for the forty-first [time].
