But Leonardo, The term Samu has asked for is clearly "cage head". What has "headhouse" have to do with this? Also, it seems to me there's been no mention of any "mine"!

Samu, I have found the following related to mine tunnels: Headhouse= caseta del bocaminas; Placa frontal, casquete, cabeza. Hope it helps.

Ahí encontrarás esta definición de jaula (cage) para fabricar túneles:
jaula (const), cage, conjunto ensamblado de armaduras para concreto (hormigón). Es rígido y listo para ser colocado en su posición.
Por esto creo que cage head, debe ser la parte superior o techo de la jaula y no un cabezal.
