Russian term
пластически-элегантный

This is from a series of texts on Russian artists. I have an option here but am curious about any suggestion you may have.
Thanks for your time.

"plastic" simply means "related to form / shape" (Gr. Plassein, to mold, shape); generally of 3-dimensional objects in EN, but possibly of painting too
formally elegant

: Perhaps something like treatment/modelling of form, rather than just "form", would work here?/ I was thinking on the lines of "elegant in its modelling of form": "modelling" is often used with reference to the use of light and shade(in drawings/paintings)

Thanks for the suggestion, asker should definitely consider it. Yes I seem to have left that out.

elegant in its plasticity
That's perhaps a way of rephrasing it while preserving the essence of the original. I think the term plastic/plasticity in the artistic sense is very much central here - would be a shame to lose it altogether.
