Spanish term
heavy goods vehicle
Spanish to English
Other
Transport / Transportation / Shipping
Wouldn't we use some other term for this in the States?
I'm proofing a doc with a mix of British and American English, but as I've been in Europe so long, I can't remember if there's another way to say it in AmEng. I'm completely blanking here.
Thanks much for your help.

Note from asker:
So you would say a lorry and a heavy good vehicle are synonyms? To me 'truck' is too general. The idea is a vehicle which transports supplies to a construction site for a major public infrastructure project. |
