English to Polish Art/Literary Poetry & Literature
Greetings,

I am writing a letter to a Polish speaker and would like to end it on this mildly facetious note. You can be creative in your translation, but if you change the words, please provide a back-translation.

You're welcome, Gennady :) And, yes, I recommend that you use the polish "a with a dinks" in "r�czki" otherwise it means "little crawfish" and we don't want that ;)

oh, the Polish explanation comes from the website, just to prove the expression exists. It's about the actual act of bowing in front of someone and embracing their legs (would say: ankles)to express gratitude and respect

Woman And I am a man. But the facetiousness should ultimately be benign. The thanks is meant to sound mock-official, and to make her laugh.
