Hi! I am a Korean-New Zealander living in Tauranga, a beautiful coastal city overlooking the Pacific Ocean. I work as a freelance interpreter and translator: Korean and English for both directions.
I enjoy working from home, quietly sitting down before a computer, translating, as much as I enjoy interpreting at many different places such as courts, hospitals, and various organizations.
I have strong understanding and background in business as it is my major for undergraduate studies (B.A., 2002), combined with work experience in HR consulting and finance. I hold a masters degree in consecutive interpreting and translations (M.A., 2010), after having successfully completed all the four semesters on academic scholarships.
I am a fan of music, art, and fashion. I enjoy watching movies and taking my bubbly children to parks and beaches.
Please contact me if you're looking for a genuine, reliable and most importantly competent Korean-English translator and want to develop a great long-term working relationship. I have a very good reputation in the local community and great feedback/testimonials from clients.
For your reference, one of the most recent jobs that I had undertaken was from Auckland Council involving 8500+ English words. The end client complimented as saying, quote: “the translation of ‘te mihi (a Maori poem)’ into Korean is probably one of the best translations that I have read over the past 15 years of my careers in the professional translation sector. Well done.”
I am quite new to ProZ.com and hope to get great feedback from many service providers on ProZ.com. If I am of interest to you, please do contact me and you will not be disappointed.
