I need to translate the following sentence INTO FRENCH.
"La forma de operar se conoce en inglés como Pop-up-Down y consiste en inversiones a futuro sobre determinados bienes, como petróleo o minería."
I am not sure whether I understand the phrase "inversion a futuro".

Le fonctionnement est connu en anglais sous le nom Pop-Up-Down et est fondé sur des investissements à long terme portant sur des biens déterminés tels que le pétrole, ou l'industrie minière ;

As far as I understand, "inversiones a futuro" is specific to investments in raw materials and energy such as metals or petrol.
