iliaco primit izq

Spanish to English Medical Medical (general) Pathology Reports - Biopsy
The following appears in a pathology report:

Material: 1) Uréter izq. 2) Uréter der. 3) Vejiga + próstata + vs seminales. 4) Iliaco-obt izq. 5) Iliaco primit izq. 6) Iliaco obt der. 7) Iliaco der.

Clearly "Iliaco primit izq." = "Iliaco primitivo izquierdo" and refers to lymph node dissection.

My question is does this indicate the left common iliac lymph nodes rather than left primitive lymph nodes?

Cheers,
John

They are the same The common iliac is the same primitive iliac. It bifurcates to the right and left

I also saw 'iliacius primarius' in case that might help, and a web reference to the development of lymphatic tissues.

I searched on line and I didn't find 'primitive' left iliac. I found the 3 main iliacs to be at the neck, upper limbs or under armpits and abdomen. I also found 'left promitive lymph nodes with visual diagrams, which are not attractive.
