Spanish term

vasos periféricos inespecíficos

Spanish to English Medical Medical (general) Imágenes mamarias

Gracias.

Votes to reclassify question as PRO/non-PRO:

PRO (3): lorenab23, Neil Ashby, Anne Schulz

When entering new questions, KudoZ askers are given an opportunity* to classify the difficulty of their questions as 'easy' or 'pro'. If you feel a question marked 'easy' should actually be marked 'pro', and if you have earned more than 20 KudoZ points, you can click the "Vote PRO" button to recommend that change.

How to tell the difference between "easy" and "pro" questions:

An easy question is one that any bilingual person would be able to answer correctly. (Or in the case of monolingual questions, an easy question is one that any native speaker of the language would be able to answer correctly.)

A pro question is anything else... in other words, any question that requires knowledge or skills that are specialized (even slightly).

Another way to think of the difficulty levels is this: an easy question is one that deals with everyday conversation. A pro question is anything else.

When deciding between easy and pro, err on the side of pro. Most questions will be pro.

* Note: non-member askers are not given the option of entering 'pro' questions; the only way for their questions to be classified as 'pro' is for a ProZ.com member or members to re-classify it.

Discussion

Chema Nieto Castañón Jun 9, 2018:
Hi Tom, I had the same problem. And yet it is normal not to find a web-equivalency as such expressions would only be found in a medical report -and there are not many of those on the web.
Anyhow, nonspecific peripheral vessels as you suggest sounds as a perfect match for the original Spanish expression/idea.
Thomas Walker Jun 9, 2018:
I did get some hits in internet searches for "vasos periféricos", but not for the complete Spanish phrase "vasos periféricos inespecíficos". I thought maybe an English equivalent could be the phrase "nonspecific peripheral vessels"; but as with the Spanish, I got hits on "non-specific vessels" & "peripheral vessels", but not for the complete phrase.
Chema Nieto Castañón Jun 8, 2018:
I am not sure how to express this in proper English; the idea is that there can be seen a few non relevant / non significant [without pathological "meaning"] perilesional vessels.
