Entramador

Spanish to English Other Construction / Civil Engineering Pliers
Hi,

I'm translating some product descriptions for an online retail site from Spanish for Spain to British English and am having trouble with a phrase. The product in question is a pair of pliers, but I'm not sure what the phrase in question is unfortunately. Here is the full product description for context:

'Ferrestock S.L. - Alicate triscador 190 m.m. (entramador)'

It can be found at the following link:

https://www.amazon.es/dp/B00L2IBN8W

Having done a little research, I'm not 100% sure about what this is meant to be referring to (or whether the Spanish is particularly great in the first place!). Can someone help please?

Many thanks!

Here, it's called 'entramador o lizador de sierras", but I'm not sure what "lizador" means:

saw set

Or saw straightener.
Lizar = alisar = to smooth or straighten (Poner liso algo).
On chainsaws you do it with a file.

saw tooth setting (aligning) tool(pliers)

Saw teeth have to be reset from time to time. Alternate teeth have to point in opposite directions.

Here is an old one-

triscar

2. tr. Torcer alternativamente y a uno y otro lado los dientes de la sierra para que la hoja corra sin dificultad por la hendidura.

Looks like these pliers are used to set the teeth of your saw alternatively to one side and the other... so one can cut better... so, entramar, would be something like "to weave", in order to create an "entramado" (frame), so metaphorically it is like a "weaver"... but you don't "weave" anything. Just get your "saw" ready for heavy duty cutting...
