Discussion

Alexander Teplitsky Nov 9, 2014:
Sarah McDowell (asker) Nov 8, 2014:
Thanks but I decided on something else On second thought, I decided to translate it as something completely different.
The Misha Nov 7, 2014:
Mr. Teplitsky, who am I to say no? Snatch and jerk all you want. I wish you realized how ridiculous this sounds in English "as she is spoke," regardless of whether it's about weight lifting or not.
Alexander Teplitsky Nov 7, 2014:
Snatch, jerk, win
Sarah McDowell (asker) Nov 7, 2014:
About weightlifting I forgot to mention that the text refers to a weightlifter.

agree The Misha : This is very similar to my own version, only "strike" isn't good here - unless it's about beating someone up. Push, bounce/sprint/leap, win perhaps?

Yes, just as explained earlier, there was nothing about weightlifting in the original question. I agree with Push/leap/win.

Snach, jerck, win!

толчок - clean and jerk

Snatch, jerk, win!

Note from asker:
Good except that your spelling is completely wrong.
Peer comment(s):

disagree The Misha : This isn't about athletics - it's about marketing. Snatching and jerking don't exactly make for nice marketing soundbites in English.
