Italian to English Law/Patents Law (general) bankruptcy
From a report by the court appointed recievership
Whole phrase:
"le entrate dell'anno 2007 sono costituite dal recupero credito per €xxx, da interessi attivi e cedole su investimenti per €xxx e dal recupero credito iva in compensazione per €xxx"

I am not sure if this is 'in compensation' or 'as compensation' or if it is 'set off'

What do you think is more likely?
