Bus/Financial - Accounting / investigating employees taking backhanders
Italian term or phrase: procurato
Background: an employee has been reported for asking a client for cash

I don't understand the meaning of PROCURATO in the following sentence:

He was reported by "il fornitore xxxx, a cui è associato un procurato pari a circa 84 mila euro e un fatturato di circa 1,5 mila euro"

Suggestions welcome, thanks!

Explanation:
This is legalese, and it is used when Italian legalese is applied, procurato = merce fornita/procurata.

Explanation:
Sounds like a really interesting translations! Corrupt employees ... Unfortunately, despite all the anti-corruption measures in place, this practice is still all to common and on the news in Italy every day!

I would add that this is the amount of the supply contract PROCURED by the sales rep. in question and sales revenue worth EUR 1.5 thousand.

Asker: Yes, I thought it might be something like this. There could be a big project involving several suppliers, in which this particular supplier has goods or services for 1.5 thousand...

Asker: It seems to be an employee in a foreign subsidiary, he asked for something corresponding to 50 euros. No Italian would ask for less than 500. :-) I don't know all the juicy details, everything is redacted with xxxx.

Reference information:
Never heard this term used in this way. The only thing I can think of, considering the subject is a "fornitore", is that "procurato" refers to the items s/he provided (and probably the author didn't want to use the word "fonitura" because it was too close to the term "fornitore"...)
