Rat
Mushak is a Sanskrit word, which is rarely used in everyday Hindi conversation.
Mushak means - Rat
Mesha means - Goat
These terms are usually used in Indian astrology to specify the "yoni" of a person. For details please refer to the link given below.
"She is a mushak and he is a mesha" would mean that-
her 'yoni' is 'Mushak' and his 'yoni' is 'mesha'.

Zebung : In the chart mentioned by you, there are different columns for \'Rasi\', \'Nadi\', \'Yoni\', \'Gana\', \'Varna\'. All of them are different things. The Astrological Symbols you are referring to - Taurus, Aries or Leo are referred to as \'Rasi\', which is a completely different thing from \'Yoni\'.
\'Mushak\' and \'Mesha\' are referred to as \'Yoni\' and not as \'Rasi\'.
Therefore, I concluded that your answer was wrong and still think the same.
Further, thanks a lot for your interest in the Hindi language, however, I do wonder, why it is not mentioned as a language of your interest on your site.

Indojin- I know you wouldn\'t say \"He is a Taurus/Aires,\" I was just giving what the same time of year relates to in terms of Astorlogical symbols. Would you say \"He is a rat/goat\"? Probably not, and it is the same with Leo, Taurus - no one says \"He is a Bull/Lion\". To say that answer is completely wrong is a pretty unfair claim. If the asker follows the link, the reference chart shows how these dates correlate.

: Your answer is completely wrong. The link gives "Mesha" and "Mushak" as "yonis". Nobody who knows hindi would make such a mistake.
