As the name implies, is a room in an office building used for particular "functions": for example, the one next to mine is full of printers, a photocopier etc.

Technical equipment or office equipment room? Are you having to label things on a diagram or list? This might be generic enough if the label can't be more specific. Utility room also occurred to me, but I think it's now used only for storerooms for cleaning supplies and the like.

These are probably the commonest designations, although your own suggestion is also quite acceptable.

At least in the US, we would usually name the room based on what its function actually is: copier room, computer room, break room, etc.
