Context: "....die mit einer Zweitwohnsitz- und Ferienwidmung ausgestattet sind"
From a brochure for a hotel with integrated apartments which are to be sold off.
I know what it means, but I just cannot think what it is called in English!
Any help gratefully received.

: Since Claire is in Europe, you might have offered "holday home"...(or apartment).

Typo for "Ferienwohnung" - holiday apartment
I think you have a scanned document there, and it's not really well-reproduced. This must be what it is - it's not exactly logical for a holiday to be "devoted", is it...

Clearly this apartment is designed as a 'second residence' (a concept not really known in the UK), and is also approved for use as a holiday apartment.

In other words, as an apartment for which the owner may make a user charge.

(AT & CH) designated use as a holiday home
die mit einer Zweitwohnsitz- und Ferienwidmung ausgestattet sind ->that or which come with a designated use as a second residence and holiday home
'Holiday homesteading' would be a novel concept and might apply only if the residence were mis-used as a 'primary' or 'principal' residence.

Discussion
I'll go with "second home and holiday home classification"
Paraminski, if you could put your discussion entry as an answer, I'll be able to select it and give it points...

Das Anwesen verfügt über eine Ferienwidmung, d.h. es kann auch als Zweitwohnsitz/Ferienhaus genutzt werden http://www.bellevue.de/de/immobilien/expose/426001/kaufen
/Einfamilienhaus/Bezirk-Oberbayern/Miesbach-Landkreis/Bayrischzell
maybe something like "approved holiday home" or "designated holiday home"
Somebody has misread a handwritten amendment to a copy for the brochure, and that is how it turned out.
Ask the customer to check - I am sure that's right.
