Medical - Medical (general)
German term or phrase: M K N
Hi all,

I'm translating a discharge summary, in the rounds sheet there is a column titled "Pflege", with the subheadings "M" "K" and "N". I can't work out what all 3 could be in context.

At first I thought this was shift patterns, as "M" could be "Morgen" and "N" could be "Nacht", but then I have no idea for "K".

If they are care interventions we could have "Medikamente" and "Katheter", but then I'm stuck on "N".

Any other suggestions?

Explanation:
I think you should leave it as is unless you can firmly establish that it's about Miktion/Katheter/Nykturie from the context.

neutral  Cilian O'Tuama: I'd say ask the client and admit you're unsure. Leaving them as they are would be unwise IMO.

-> Yeah, there are different ways of handling it; one could probably figure it out from the context, but it wasn't provided here. I usually write a comment explaining what it could stand for
