From a 1940 letter, written by a Jewish woman in Vienna:

"Auch meine Kleider und Schöße habe ich durchwegs enger und kürzer machen lassen, so daß ich wieder halbwegs zusammengestampert bin."

I do know from Wolfgang Teuschl's Wiener Dialekt Lexikon, that Schoß = Frauenrock, but I haven't been able to find zusammengestampert anywhere. Any ideas?

Here works ostensibly as an 'oxymoron', namely as a self-contradiction.

Asker: I think "pulled together" works pretty well in this context, based on a number of uses of that phrase I found online! For example: "To be 'pulled together' in this context means that everything that you are wearing is coordinated and works well together to create an ensemble."
