Medical - Zoology / veins of the horse
French term or phrase: bourrelet
This term appears in a text about equine angiology. The sentence I am struggling with states "Le derme du tissu veloute, du podophylle et du bourrelet". I have found "rim" with reference to the coffin bone as a translation for bourrelet but am unsure as I don't know what the other terms (tissu veloute and podophylle) mean in this context.

Once again thank you so much for your help with this subject I found very confusing despite having two horses myself. Even the very knowledgeable blacksmith couldn't clarify!
