French term
contrôle d’unicité
French to English
Tech/Engineering
IT (Information Technology)
Airport security
Les équipements de contrôle d’unicité, consistant à vérifier qu’une seule personne est effectivement entrée dans un sas pour passer un contrôle.
It's clear what this means, but does anyone know a succinct English term. My solution so far it to just leave it out;
"... equipment for verifying that only one person has actually entered..."
Please let me know if you have a better solution!

single-person access checking
Or anti-tailgating, or anti-piggybacking.
Though you're right, you could leave it out, as you're effectively usaying the same thing twice.
Entrance control system dramatically improves passage flow maintaining a high security level, thanks to: metal detector, single person access checking system, anti-tailgating, anti-piggybacking.

Note from asker:
Thanks Phil, I went for single person access, I think it needed something explanatory like that |

French term (edited):
équipements de contrôle d’unicité
anti-tailgating equipment
From the FAA's 'Recommended Guidelines for Airport Security Planning, Design, and Construction'
"Anti-Tailgating Devices/Systems – Anti-tailgating strategies may employ specialized systems and equipment to prevent multiple entries into a security area based on a single credential. These systems and equipment include turnstiles, card readers, mantraps, air locks, and various sensors and surveillance technologies (guards, VSS, video analytics, etc.) These may be used at the perimeter, airfield, external facilities, and other security-related areas (security equipment rooms, data centers, bonded/sensitive/restricted areas, etc.)"

From Airport Technology website-
"The advantages of the tailgate detector include:
Seamless integration: the tailgate detector works with security systems by intercepting the signal emitted from the ID reader and determines the status of the access point (i.e. opened / closed door). The sensor then establishes whether or not a single individual is attempting entry, and in the event of dual or unauthorised entry, provides the necessary output by locking the door or triggering an alarm, thereby adding a security layer to the existing access control system"
