Чисті дані мають вирішальне значення для глибокого аналізу даних. Очищення даних (називають data cleansing, data cleaning або data scrubbing) - це перший крок у загальному процесі підготовки даних. Це процес аналізу, виявлення та виправлення безладних, необроблених даних. Очищення даних передбачає заповнення відсутніх значень, виявлення та виправлення помилок та визначення того, чи вся інформація знаходиться в правильних рядках і стовпцях.
