DPC Assets are
Collateral owned by the bank as a result of borrower default on loans or other lending or financing arrangements (e.g., lease financing) where the bank has exercised its right pursuant to the underlying loan terms or financing arrangement to acquire that collateral in satisfaction of the debt.

Off-Lease Assets are
Properties owned by the bank and previously leased to third parties where the lease has been terminated due to expiration of its term or lessee’s default and the subject property has reverted to the bank’s possession; while property is not leased it is subject to DPC regulations until it is re-leased, sold, or otherwise disposed.

We will refer to DPC Assets, Former Banking Premises and Off-Lease Property collectively as “DPC Assets.”

DPC Assets can be anything used for collateral to secure a loan or financing arrangement. For example:
• real estate (commercial and residential)
• securities
• mineral rights
• equipment
• appliances
• artwork
• machinery
• automobiles
• jewelry
• any other tangible or intangible item used as collateral for debt and taken when a borrower defaults on that debt.
