English to Russian Other Engineering (general)

You have advised me that you did not slip on a sticky mark but that you caught your foot on the metal strip running along the floor at the doorway. Having considered the photographs provided by the other side there does not appear to be anything wrong with the strip i.e. it is not overly raised or defective. Given that this is your cupboard and you are in and out of there all of the time I believe that a court would find that there was no defect and that this was just an unfortunate accident.
