Estudo numérico de escoamentos com rotação confinados

O objetivo principal desta dissertação é estudar os diversos escoamentos turbulentos, não reativos e confinados provocados por um gerador de rotação anelar com uma coroa de pás, alterando alguns parâmetros de entrada tais como: o caudal e o número de swirl, através da ferramenta de simulação numérica, CFD.

The main goal of this thesis is to study the different turbulent flows, non-reactive and confined using an annular swirler with vanes, changing inputs parameters such as stream flow and the number of swirl, using CDF as a tool for the numerical simulation.

In this thesis it is intended to study the influence of the confinement ratio on the nonreactive swirling flows pattern, using the ANSYS Fluent tool. The numerical simulation domain consists of a cylindrical chamber, where the rotation imposed by a swirler is simulated with the introduction of swirl velocity in the flow.
