agen/kuasa pemohon Explanation: Dalam konteks ini, 'agen' sama dg 'kuasa', yaitu orang/badan hukum yg diberi kuasa oleh perusahaan ekspor/impor untuk mengajukan permohonan izin ekspor/impor dari pabean Singapura. Karena mereka berperan sebagai agen/kuasa yg bertugas mengajukan permohonan atas nama perusahaan ekspor/impor untuk memperoleh izin ekspor/impor dari paben tsb, maka 'declaring agent' ini dapat dipadankan sebagai 'agen/kuasa pemohon. Agen Pengurusan Kepabean Explanation: Mohon maaf mau menambahkan sedikit karena saya pernah lama di perusahaan pelayaran. Dalam kegiatan ekspor impor, pihak eksporter dan import harus mengurus dokumen di pabean. Kegiatan ini sering disebut custom clearance (mengurus proses agar lolos kepabean) yang salah satu kegiatannya adalah custom declaration (mengisi data2 ekspor atau impor) untuk diserahkan ke pabean. Pihak yang membantu pihak eksporter atau importer ini mengurus dokumen di pabean disebut declaring agent atau custom broker atau clearing agent. Di Indonesia kegiatan mengurus kepabean ini dilakukan oleh perusahaan EMKL (Ekspedisi Muatan Kapan Laut).
