You may criticize all you like, but do so in the appropriate places. My English is not the issue here. The fact that I have explained my side of this in public and in English is because in your English reply to my comment you have misrepresented the facts. My Greek comment with the "disagree" was not based on the fact that you have written "Google it" but on your own failure to do so. And you have also written that I tried to shut you up when I was merely asking you to be more professional in your contributions. It is your own interpretation that the latter may be tantamount to your shutting up.

Let this be on record in English: My comment, transphy, asked you to use your own advice, i.e. to google for the answer you had chosen to give. Unless we are absolutely sure of the term or translation we propose to our colleagues, it is good practice to google for it, putting it inside quotation marks and then checking the findings carefully to make sure they come from reliable sources. It is my opinion, transphy, that your Greek is far from the standard required of professional translators and you have given enough answers here to justify the remainder of my comment, i.e. that your answers are often what just springs to your mind, and that you do not google to verify their validity. As a result, you have sprinkled the English-Greek pair of Proz.com with too many unreliable suggestions and we kindly ask you to be more careful with your replies in future. Try to abstain from comments about vindictiveness or how good my English is.

It had to happen, again, with on 1 of your questions. Please don't get me wrong. I am not blaming you by saying this.
What we answer, we believe to be right. It is NOT always so. Proz.com were wise about this and made provision for it. If peers think one's answer is incorrect then they say 'disagree'. Furthermore one can make comments, on the SUBSTANCE of why they disagree, if they want. BUT to make personal caustic comments about their peers is not right and downright unacceptable. Nobody is perfect, as the two people in question think they are. I could ctitisise them for their sometime bad English, but I refrain from being personal. My understanding is that, this forum is to express an opinion. What one believes is right. The others 'agree', disagree' or are 'neutral'. What is more appropriate than that? If I believe I am right I argue my case until proven otherwise. Dialogue is healthy. If others don't like it they don't have to take part in it. Looking at my record, I don't see why I should be made to feel bad. 'The man who makes no mistakes is the man who does nothing!!' That goes for me and them. Ευχαριστώ πολύ τους συναδέλφους Νάντια και Νίκο για τις σωστές παρατηρήσεις τους. Transphy with all the respect I think you should be more careful with the answers you propose to your colleagues. OK I am a native Greek speaker and I can see the mistake but what happens if someone is not Greek and get this as the right answer? I don't even want to think about it.
