Im Zusammenhang mit Arzneimitteln sind sowohl verschreibungs- als auch rezeptfrei gängig, inzwischen jedoch auch OTC, da sich die englische Bezeichnung in technischen Details etwas von den deutschen Gegenstücken unterscheidet. Geht es nicht um Arzneimittel, würde ich frei erhältlich vorschlagen - passt auf (fast) alles.

(ie, negotiated market outside the organized stock exchanges; over the telephone or through NASDAQ, an automated system; volume far heavier than exchange trading volume: ,,the world's largest market"; Freiverkehrsmarkt für nicht zum offiziellen Börsenverkehr zugelassene Wertpapiere; größter Wertpapiermarkt der Welt; syn, OTC market)

But I have a feeling that is not what is meant here.
"Direktverkauf über den Ladentisch" I.e. direct sales over the counter is what you context seems to mean. There are similarities, but this is miore likely.
