English term

Lick coating

English to French Tech/Engineering Paper / Paper Manufacturing
"It also has a special lick coating on the reverse, which gives superior print results compared to standard uncoated reverse sides."

This sentence appears in a press release about a new grade of paper. I have been unable to find any information regarding the French term for "lick coating", so any help will be greatly appreciated !

Some additional information that I found : "Lick Coating : A light form of mineral coating, achieved by supplying the surface sizing press of the paper making machine with coating material instead of normal surface sizing solution."

papier couché léger

Je n'ai pas trouvé de référence bilingue certaine, mais la définition en anglais:
https://www.antalis.co.uk/files/live/sites/UK_Antalis/files/...
http://www.kwdoggett.com.au/2014/08/bondi-whiteback-newest-p...
http://www.ip3.org.uk/glossary.htm
correspond bien au papier couché léger décrit en français:
http://www.veoprint.com/papiers-couches.html
www.antalis.fr/business/catalog.htm?mhId=13515738&nodeName=...

Donc pour "lick coating" on pourrait utiliser "couchage léger"
