cocoonen Definition from Woordenboek van neologismen: Cocoonen; cocooning - (Eng.), het zich terugtrekken uit het maatschappelijk engagement in eigen huis, tuin en bij zijn kinderen; het uitgaansleven inwisselen voor de geborgenheid van zijn woning; het scheppen van een gezellig sfeertje in de eigen woning en zich daardoor min of meer afsluiten van de buitenwereld.
