前两种译法有意地避开了“市场”一词，因为我觉得，international precence 当然很可能是讲国际市场的占有问题，但这个用语本身并没有提到市场，所以，在其他意义上使用也是可能的。例如，文化、教育、慈善等非商业性组织，也有 "strong international presence"。
这里的困难主要在于 "presence" 这个英文词实在没有一个非常贴切的中文词与之对应。过去译存在主义哲学时，曾为这个词大伤脑筋。国内哲学界通常的译法是“在场”。我觉得实在别扭，经过反复再三，决定译为“即在”，取意“即时的、即有的、当即的存在”。“即”有时解作“是”，相当于英文中的 to be ，也有“存在”的意思。从哲学上讨论一下，也许对各位理解这个词有点帮助。 "presence" 与 "present" 有同源关系，基本意思是在当下的时间和空间中出现，既是主体，又是客体，既是目击者，又是参与者。俗话说，“我在这儿呢！”言下之意，我的存在不可忽视。前面有位朋友说“占一席之地”，我想也是基于这个思路。
所有这些译法，都只传达出原文的部分意思，与句子中的其他成分配合，在一定的语境中是可以接受的译法。就象 "to be" 一样，译为“是”、“有”、“在”，已成为标准的译法。但是莎士比亚的名句：“ to be or not to be, that is a question”，译为“生存还是死亡，这是问题之所在”，只能是差强人意，无可奈何的译法。因为“to be or not to be”的意涵远比简单的生于死的问题丰富。“to be ”可以隐含“to be oneself, to be human, to be a solder, to be a king, to be the son of the royal father, etc.”

"A strong international presence to complement our large domestic project list." means to me is that this company appears all over the world, and becomes powerful and well-recognized,such image or situation helped their business within this country, resulted with a long list of business projects. If I am correct on this path of thought, this sentence might be translated as "我们现在拥有强势的国际卡位，（这种情况）使我们大批的国内项目相得益彰。"
