chest x-ray
Another entry in the results of a chest X-ray. Not a complete sentence and no further context, the results include "geen ingetikt afwijkingen". I know that 'ingetikt' means 'entered' or 'typed in' but I can't see how this makes sense when describing what is seen on a chest X-ray. Maybe it does just mean that, but I wondered if anyone had any other suggestions?
Thanks
Thanks
Discussion
This is the situation I imagined:
Someone is verifying the information in a form, either an electronic or tangible one.
And now they arrive at the chest X-ray results and notice/conclude 'no abnormalities entered'
This would mean your document was/is - partially - an extract from another document, for example from a form from the pulmonary department.
Correct spelling would be:
geen ingetikte afwijkingen
rephrasing
er zijn geen afwijkingen ingetikt.
no abnormalities were entered.
I have put 'entered' since there doesn't seem to be anything else!
Thanks anyway
If so, this would mean 'no abnormalities mentioned/entered'
I think it must mean what you indicated: type in , enter
