profession Explanation: Great question, haven’t come across this before. Definition: “titul a úřední hodnost, stav, zaměstnání.” Examples: “Propůjčiti charakter vyšší hodnostní třídy. Co si tedy p. otec pomyslí, když nedáš jeho panu synovi patřičného karakteru? (Kosm.) Malá cedulka se jménem i charakterem ukázala mu dvéře, do kterých vstoupil.
