Spanish term

prendido (en este contexto)

Spanish to English Other Journalism
"Me inspiran muchas cosas, pero fundamentalmente el público cuando está bien prendido"

(This was said in an interview with a dj)

Is there a good word to use for "prendido"? I can't find anything that seems to be right... any ideas?

Discussion

Juan Jacob Feb 11, 2005:
More than "in the mood", but less than "fired up". It also means "well connected" with the artist. Typical in Mexico.
Non-ProZ.com Feb 11, 2005:
Sorry, I should have told you. This is for an article in a Mexican magazine. Thanks for asking.

Captivated (audience)

I assume the DJ finds inspiring playing his music to a captivated audience. Prendarse is to fall in love or be captivated by someone's charms. A suggestion. Good luck
