In my country there's a small book. It contains information about a house and people living in it.
What should I call it? Should I call this Residence Registration?
And if this document is lost, before I can get a new one, the office issues a sheet of temporary document. In it contains the same information but it's just a sheet of paper and to be used temporary. What should I call this? Please give a lot of choice , so I can choose.

'residence document'; temporary/replacement/interim 'residence certificate'
In the P R China it is/was known as a 'hukou'
Here is the definition from Foreign Language Teaching and Research Press "A Chinese-English Dictionary", Beijing, 1995:
hukou = registered permanent residence
hukoubu/hukouben = (permanent) residence booklet
If you are referring to China, then because hukou is such a wellknown term for people dealing with China, I suggest 1 hukou (residence document), and 2 temporary hukou certificate
If it is another country, then you might like to consider the same approach (ie the 'foreign-language' word with an English explanation)
