: also my first thought, but depreciation does not usually apply to land - I would suggest 'loss of value'

: Yes, "loss of land value" receives more hits (337), as opposed to "depreciation in land value" (21) or "depreciation of land value" (56), but I think all three would work just fine (taking into account the meager context provided). :-)
