Italian term

lipasico

Italian to English Medical Biology (-tech,-chem,micro-)
I know this is about lipases - my question is whether "lipasic" is really used much in EN, or if I should use "lipase" as an adjective. Lipasic looks a bit like translatorese to me.

E.g., attività lipasiche - lipase activity or lipasic activity?
Thank you, enzyme mavens!

Definitely ‘lipase activity’ in my experience.
Even googling “lipasic activity” returns results for ‘lipase activity’.

lipasic activity

I would keep noun and adjective differentiated.

neutral Michele Fauble : In English nouns can modify nouns. And ‘lipase activity’ is far more common.
