The text is from Argentina. It's not clear to me if this term refers to the person/citizen bringing the action, or the action or proceeding, or something else? Thanks in advance.

Not that I can tell There's no mention of lower court proceedings in this document
AllegroTrans Jul 14, 2023:
Thanks jmf But did the case start in a lower Court? It's difficult to discern what is happening here without more context
jmf (asker) Jul 14, 2023:
Supreme Court Hi Allegro, This case is before the Supreme Court ("CSJ" in the first line below). Thanks!
AllegroTrans Jul 14, 2023:
Asker Which Court is this?
Is this a case commenced in this Court, or originally in a lower Court?
Lisa Rosengard Jul 13, 2023:
I found the word native as a definition of originario.
Is it possibly about the starting point or origin from where the action or the proceeding began?

It means that the case was brought directly before the Supreme Court. There is an implicit noun that makes "originario" masculine, but I cant think what it is.

1 - que dentro de la jurisdicción federal únicamente la Corte en esas causas actuará con competencia originaria, y esto significa que entiende como tribunal de única instancia, en donde no hay lugar para la apelación, es primera (inicio) y última (final) instancia.

neutral AllegroTrans : This could be correct, but short of more context, I think it is only speculative

Peer comment(s):

neutral AllegroTrans : You have joined the word to the alphanumerical case reference above it, but that is pure guesswork and should be reflected by a CL1
